I thoroughly enjoyed this "ex-chateau" Chairman's. Pulled out the grill on a rare warm February afternoon, grilled a couple steaks, and this bottle was a perfect accompaniment. Tannins have softened but are still present, belying the wine's age. Overall balanced very well. More left bank Bordeaux than Napa. Cassis, leather, earth, acidity, long finish, it's all there. Going back for more.

Opened my last bottle - still too young! CT says drinking window until 2019, but no way, this needs 5 more years. Very good just needs more time. Wish I had more.

Complex & smooth. Mature flavors of dark fruit, anise, earth & raisins. Would have added the plus if it had more oak showing. Not sure it's that high on the QPR but I did buy more for the chance to have something from the PLCB stores at the right age.

Very Bordeaux in character, showing well for its age. A classic old-style Napa. Very enjoyable.

I park my car at work literally eight feet from this vineyard. Not at bad view at all.

My last bottle tonight, and wish I had more. Drinking exceptionally well;this could go another 5 years easy.
