Wonderful QPR at $11. Medium body and color. On the powerful nose, lots of smoky black fruit and meat. Similar flavors on the palate with the non fruit components taking center stage. Meat, mushroom and smoke - nice balance and got better as we drank it. Rated 89 on CT. DTQPR = 91.41

Sweet blackberry jam, meat, & petrol on this somewhat unique nose. I had to pause a little, think about this, and then took a few swallows. Turns out its pretty good. More jam, some smoke, graphite, and sweet integrated tannins on the palate. For this price, a great daily drinker. Need to get a few more.

I left two glasses out overnight and this stuff was still primo 24 hours later. Pretty impressive.

Nice dark berries and raw meat on the nose. Dark berries with a smokey feel on the palate. A little hollow on the mid palate. Finish is decent, but drops off quicker than I would like. Pretty good QPR.

Blackberry and pepper nose,. Dark fruit, game, meat, good tannic structure. The finish is strange to me, liked burned rubber, which turned me off a bit. I also struggled trying to figure out the character of this wine and what it's trying to be. Plus how do pronounce it, "Liver" ?? I guess that works considering the meat in this wine.

I didn't take detailed notes, but a nice QPR on this wine. Medium to full, a nice balance of fruit and smoky/meaty flavor. Not overly tannic. Needs some time to open up.
