This is a very attractive wine. Aromas of dark fruit, graphite, and spice box. Highly tannic and full bodied. There are mocha and fruit flavors along with oak, but the earthy undertones coming through lend me to believe I am almost tasting the soil from which this is grown; a very pleasurable drinking experience.

Aromas of cow pasture, leather, and tobacco, all wrapped in dark red fruit. Medium bodied on the palate with a real dryness to it. Old world style. Cherry flavors and some barnyard.

This wine has a bordeaux nose, band-aid. Palate has lots of acidity, more band-aid, old world, earthiness, cedar. Dark subtle fruit behind the tannins, long finish. There is some strong fruit ready to integrate, I think it will be better with a little more time.

Dark fruit and dried soil on the nose. Piquant dried cherry, barnyard funk, sun-baked earth, and a hint of anise on the palate. Great complexity for such a reasonably priced wine--i'm still kicking myself for not buying more bottles at the closeout price.

Deep purple color. Rich, dark fruit, very big body. Some old world dirt. Loved this wine. Incredible QPR at PA Sale price of $16. Seems like it has the body to age but I'm not sure I'll be able to restrain myself.
